When I started this design it began as a secret project. I just wanted to make some music and release it out of nowhere. From that creative approach I began writing songs. These songs were like nothing I had ever done before. I guess you can kind of see the build up to this design from some songs off The Truth About... The music I was writing and creating was more folky. I guess it was a representation of where my heart was in regards to music.

I started asking a bunch of people "What Color Is Love?" and from those conversations I got the idea to make a whole design that revolves around love. I wanted to prove Love.

In this design I wanted to showcase Love from a few different points. From one night stands to unconditional beautiful love to toxic love and even love of ones environment. I wanted to bring in a perspective that could only come from someone who has been through those experiences and emotions.

Thank you to my producer RrareBear. This would not have come to life if not for your incredible skills. For you to hear my ideas and produce incredible sounds from them is what makes you a very talented producer. You are a true artist and I hope the whole world can someday enjoy your sounds.

Thank you to Nova Luz for being so open and willing to work with me on a song that she had no idea what it was about. Your contribution took the song to another level. You are so skilled and talented and like I've said many MANY times before I love your voice. When I wrote the song I only had you in mind for it and thank god everything came together like it did.

Thank you to my engineer Kwamel Ayala, you've been with me since day one. Literally. Thank you for making time to work on my songs. You've seen the vision from the start and I can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me and my art. Thank you my friend.

Thank you to every single person who contributed to the "What Color Is Love" track. All I did was pull you a side and ask you that one question and your answers opened my eyes to even more creativity than I was seeing. Thank you.
