Grey Clouds a documentation of where my life is at the moment. I think back to when I was writing Shades of Grey where I was in a really dark place in my life and I was very unhappy. This time around I was able to get my life somewhat together and take control of things. I left a really bad work atmosphere and moved on to a better opportunity. I was able to get back together with the girl that got away and have been extremely happy together. I left certain negative people in the past and I have been able to meet and become friends with people who are engaged in bettering their lives. Finally, I was able to focus on my music and better craft my product.

Each track is a look into things, people, places and moments in my life. For example, Lucky Me is a song about how focused I am with enhancing my life and it’s almost a bit boastful in the sense that I know how good I can be with my art and I’m not afraid of letting people know. There are some experimental tracks on this Mixtape such as N.Y.R.F which is a fun, party, rager kind of song where I used a fast and up-tempo beat with slow and catchy hook.

Grey Clouds is a light, fun, profound, factual and genuine collection of songs that portray my life at the moment. Once again, I am putting the pages of my journal out in the open for everyone to read. I’ll be honest and say that this project is a complete 180 degree turn from Shades of Grey. It’s very experimental and I’m not sure everyone will approve of the sounds they will hear but the way I see it is if you aren’t progressing with you art then what’s the point? For me, the most important thing as a song writer is the lyrics. One thing I can guarantee is that the lyrics will be insightful and unique. I hope everyone enjoys this final product.

I dedicate this Mixtape to my girlfriend Ruby Lopez for being the most inspirational person in my life. I love you.
